SWORD, Parang Pandit, wooden scabbard
W1970.40.a-b
[.a] Sea Dyak sword with iron hilt and short cross-guard, handle covered with tin (?) sheet, tip of handle decorated with bone. Heavy single-edged blade widest at tip which is W-shaped. Blade makes obtuse angle and has square shank.
[.b] Scabbard; wood stained red with 6 cane bindings. Takes only blade.
