a. White cardboard carton, unopened, containing sticks of red sealing wax. Lid marked "WALKDENS SEALING WAX / MANUFACTURED IN ENGLAND BY / COOPER, DENNISON & WALKDEN, LTD., LONDON, S.E. 16". Marked "SUPERFINE / "20" on end. Lid held by brown paper band. b. Red and black cardboard carton marked "BCR / SUPERFINE / SEALING WAX / APPROX NET. WT. / 454 gm. / 20 STICKS / MADE IN INDIA". These words are repeated on ends and sides of carton. To be used when sealing ballot boxes with seals such as H90.81 a-f. Ballot boxes were sealed on several locations, usually on locks and lid edges.
