BUTTON BADGE, nuclear symbol on map of Australia
H1990.399
Button type badge made by the pressing of the picture and a protective cover of plastic being pressed onto a metal base. The badge depicts Australia with the symbol for nuclear disarmament superimposed over it. Australia is white on a blue background and the nuclear disarmament symbol is printed over it in red. On the back of the badge is printed the maker's mark but this has been obscured by the pin when it was welded in place. Above the pin the following is still legible: "URNE PAT" below the pin reads: "BROS M" This seems to have been written in a circle. SUBFILES Information on the nuclear disarmament symbol.
