Circular silver plate engraved on rim: "STATE OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA / 1829 - 1979 / Orion Bank Limited / London". In centre: "(crown) / EIIR / 1952-1977" above profile of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by wreath. Signature of engraver at bottom. Hallmarks on back: "1325 / R&D (lion) (leopard's head) c (queen's head)". Blue and white presentation box, Crown and EIIR in gold on lid. A plate made for the Queen's 25th anniversary of reign and presented to the State on its sesquicentenary.
