Silver salver on four feet. In centre is engraved Western Australia's crest with "1829" on left and "1979" on right, "Western Australia" underneath; all surrounded by, in three rows: "PRESENTED TO THE GOVERNMENT OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA BY THE / NATIONAL WESTMINSTER BANK LIMITED TO COMMEMORATE / THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE STATE OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA". Natwest logo at bottom centre. Hallmarks above all: "R&D (leopard's head) (lion) c (queen's head)". Black and white presentation box.
