Belonged to Garnet Stephens, a Kalgoorlie barber. Stephens is listed in the 1917 Western Australian Post Office Directory as " Stephens, GW, tob & hrdsr, 13 Hannan St, Kalg". Dark green heavy cotton. Straight cut. Side pockets, back pocket and watch pocket. Fastens at front with four buttons. Label inside: "PRE-SHRUNK / ALL COTTON FABRIC / SIZE 3 / MADE IN HONG KONG" Work trousers.
