HAT BOX, striped, 'Bourne and Hollingsworth Ltd'

Black and beige striped cardboard hat box with lid and black ribbon attachments, made by Bourne and Hollingsworth Ltd. Solid white oval printed to each side of the hatbox with the black letters 'B&H' printed in centre of oval. 'BOURNE & HOLLINGSWORTH LTD' name repeated in brown lettering around the circumference of the black edged lid. Cream and aqua blue coloured paper label to lid of box with black capital letter 'J' to centre, Name 'W. T. JOHNSTON' handwritten in blue ink, underneath in blue type 'name in BLOCK LETTERS' and below the handwritten words 'CABIN. / A. 11.'. Along right hand side of label is a purple and a blue spot with the words in purple block print 'P&O-ORIENT LINES'. Cardboard luggage tag tied with string to black hat box ribbon, handwritten 'CABIN A.11'. Number '1' in blue print, 'Destination address' and handwritten '54 ORD ST/ WEST PERTH'. Reverse of tag has handwritten ship name SS 'Arcadia' and 'W. T. JOHNSTON' handwritten in blue ink.
