Obverse: oval badge with cut out enamelled shield surmounted by Australian coat of arms with kangaroo and emu. Blue enamelled sheild has scroll motif, medical corps caduceus symbol and 'REPATRIATION" on plated diagonal banner with a cream enamelled border. Surrounded by blue enamelled circle with 'REPATRIATION/ DEPARTMENT'. Resin has spilled over into cut out areas. Reverse: 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', no fixings.
