Gilt finish and enamel badge. Light blue enamel shield in centre with interlocking dark blue enamel letter 'H' motif. Shield is surmounted by a coat of arms with two kangaroos flanking another shield with a swan motif. Curved white enamel banner with gilt edges below shield reads 'HOSPITAL/ VOLUNTEER'. Reverse: 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH' running sideways down badge, brooch fixing also sitting sideways, no pin or catch attached.
