HANDBAG, gold-coloured glomesh
H2015.151
Gold glomesh bag, slightly larger than a purse with top clasp and short metal link strap, fabric lining.
Glomesh bag with a solid metal frame top clasp. The clasp consists of two small balls, one on either side of opening, which click together to keep bag closed. There is a diamante/rhinestone embedded in one clasp ball, and an empty space in the opposite where one would have been.
The glomesh is damaged on one side for the clasp, where the hinge is. Some of the links attaching it to the frame are damaged and it has come away from the sides.
The inside lining is badly damaged. The top stitching has come unravelled and left the layers of fabric visible.
Overall the bag shows some signs of wear and the gold is slightly tarnished in spots.
