BOLT OF FABRIC, wool, brown tartan pattern, manufacturer's swing tag; 'PWLtd', tied with string

H2013.104

Bolt of plaid fabric woven of brown, blue, burgundy, green and cream woolen fibers in a rectilinear pattern. The fabric is wound onto a thick cardboard mount and is secured with two knotted pieces of string. A buff coloured swing tag is attached to the fabric with string. It has a burgundy stripe and logo 'W.L.P' intertwined. "EP/N' & 'EG.486-3' is hand written in ink underneath it. '3 5/8' is crossed out with red pencil and substituted by '1.3/4'. In a different ink 'N.G.' is written by hand. On the reverse side of the tag '1. 3/4' written on it.
