[.1] DOLL. Original ‘Shirley Temple’ doll with composite, fully articulated, reverse socket head, arms and legs. Sleeping eyes with mottled metal eyes and brown fabric lashes, blond mohair ringlets with central parting, smiling mouth with six teeth and tongue showing. ' Shirley Temp/Ideal Nov' and trademark moulded on back of head. Doll wearing short blue cotton dress with ruffled collar & hem trimmed with pink. White bow on waist. 2 metal press studs on back opening. Sheer white sleeveless petticoat with lace trim on bottom edge and matching elastic waisted underpants. Cream coloured faux leather shoes with bow and metal buckle trim, straps across ankles with metal press stud fastenings. Short white nylon socks. [.2] Metal badge pinned to right hand breast with 'THE WORLD'S DARLING/GENUINE SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL' and a portrait of the actress printed on it. [.3] Blue satin ribbon attached to original heart shaped cardboard label, printed in block print in blue ink 'SHIRLEY/TEMPLE/DOLL/None Genuine/without this label./PRICE/ 52/6'. [.4] Cardboard base of box for doll presentation, brown tape reinforces box. White label one end with 'RELIABLE TOY COMPANY/TORONTO, CANADA/MANUFACTURER OF RELIABLE DOLLS' printed in red and black. Original brown paper packing on the bottom[.5] Lid of box, brown cardboard reinforced with brown tape
