Rectangular tan coloured cardboard 44 page photo album. Has 2 metal rimmed holes on left side through which a thick dark brown twisted cord is looped, holding all pages together. Cover has scored fold line down left hand edge. Front cover has 'Snappy Snaps' printed in large writing on top left in dark brown letters outlined in red. In the top left corner is a rectangle outlined in black within which is printed a red sun behind a black hill and silhouetted church and trees. Pages of album are thick dark brown paper. Several pages have a small piece of square black paper reinforcing the hole through which the pages are bound. Contains 150 black and white photographs and postcards, held in photocorners, of the Australian women's cricket team's 1937 tour of England and The Netherlands. The members of the Australian Women’s Cricket Team featured in these photos are Margaret Peden, Patricia Holmes, Hazel Pritchard, Peggy Antonio, Winifred George, Barbara Peden, Ellen McLarty, Sue Summers, Elsie Deane, Kathleen Smith, Alicia Walsh, Molly Flaherty, Alice Wegamund, Nancy Clements, Amy Hudson. Team journalist Pat Jarret is also photographed, as is actress Nancy Price. Photos include images of the team on the boat ‘Jervis Bay’, sights of Colombo, Port Said, the Italian boat ‘Piemonte’, The Netherlands, places in England including Chester, York, Blackpool and Wincester, and images of the team playing cricket and on during breaks. Also included are several family photos featuring an 'Uncle Henry', 'Uncle Eddie, 'Auntie Winnie' and 'Auntie Amy'. Most images have handwritten captions in either ink or white pencil(?). Several pages have photo corners but no photographs.
