SOVEREIGN PURSE

H2002.57

Crocheted sovereign purse. Long thin rectangular completely enclosed "sock" with thick maroon, gold and green stripes. There is a slit in the centre of the purse where money is placed. There is a silver coloured metal ring at both ends of purse to hold the money in place. One end of purse has a line of tiny metal rings sewn along end, with metal pins dangling from the rings. the other end of purse has a metal ball sewn to end, with rings and pins dangling from ball.
