CH1980.317
Black silk, crocheted with pattern of steel beads at each end and tassels of steel beads at each end. A different silk has been used to work the centre section. Possibly this was worked to repair an older two ends. Closed with 2 facted steel rings. Siz and beading characteristic of purses in this period. Ref.
