Six-pointed yellow copper zinc alloy medal on striped ribbon, presented in original cardboard box with documents. The medal (.1, with ribbon) feature the Royal and Imperial cypher (GRI (?) VI') in the centre, surmounted by a crown. The cypher is surrounded by a circlet inscribed 'THE PACIFIC STAR'. The reverse of the medal is blank. The ribbon is (left to right) red, dark blue, green, yellow, green, pale blue and red. The accompanying documents are an award letter from M.C. Langslow, Dept of Air, Commonwealth of Aust. (.2), notes for wearing the medal on civilian clothes (.3), a 'with compliments' card from the Minister of State for Air (.4) and the original box and lid with address (.5 and .6).
