POISING TOOL
H1995.769
Spring loaded brass poising tool, straight edged jaws with pegs to rest a balance. To run accurately a balance must be in perfect poise, all points of the rim must be of equal mass so that no heavy point seeks the bottom. This tool was used to test for heavy spots.
