DOLLS FERRIS WHEEL (PEG)

H1995.1108.a-g

Dolls ferris wheel made from pegs. Two triangular peg structures, balanced by dowling cross bars, suspend a circular peg wheel. The ferris wheel is powered by a pulley system, consisting of a wire chain made from peg wire, set on two small wooden wheels; one wheel as a hand held lever.
Suspended in the ferris wheel are six peg armchairs that seat six plastic dolls - all in brightly coloured dresses (yellow, pink, blue) and white socks. The pegs have all been varnished.
