[1-3] Three large oval red and yellow paper ‘EMU/ BITTER’ labels. Labels have a white a yellow border, centre is red with black scroll work and lettering. ‘EMU/ BITTER/ ALE’ is printed across top, middle and bottom of oval, dividing it in half. Top half has EB intertwined lettering, bottom half reads ‘BREWED & BOTTLED/ BY/ THE SWAN BREWERY CO. LTD./ PERTH/ WEST AUSTRALIA’

[4-6] Three small oval red and mustard paper ‘EMU/ BITTER’ labels. These are a smaller version of those above, with a less vibrant colour scheme. Deeper red background and a more mustard yellow border. Exactly the same text and images as above. Only addition is small line of text in white outside border, at the bottom ‘SANDS & McDOUGALL PTY. LTD. PERTH’.
