Two copper 1 centime coins. The obverse features a Laureate bust of Napoleon III facing left, encircled by dots; "NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR" is above between the dots and the coin edge, which has a border of dots and a smooth edge. Mintmarks 'Anchor' and 'Bee' are on either side of the date. The designer Mintmark 'BARRE' is below the bust. The reverse features the lettering 'EMPIRE FRANÇAIS * UN CENTIME *' within the pearled border, surrounding a Spread eagle facing right over rays.
