A silver 20 centimes coin. The obverse features a Laureate bust of Napoleon III facing left, with the lettering 'NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR' and the mintmarks 'BARRE', an Anchor and Bee. The reverse features the Imperial crown above '20 CENT. 1867' and the lettering 'EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. An 'A' mintmark is under the date. The outside face is pearled, the edge reeded.
