MODEL OF "HILDERGARDE"

T1984.99

The `Hildergarde' was built by Arthur Wakefield Bassett at the Claremont Yacht Club and was used on the Swan River. It was a 35 foot ketch. Bassett came to W.A. from Victoria in 1898. This model was built by Bassett some time prior to 1939. The frame and ribs are wooden and the planks are cardboard.
