Black lacquer frame with marking in gilt 'SINGER' on upper arm. Base marked in gilt with oval logo 'THE SINGER MANFG. CO./ TRADE MARK' around edge with crossed needles and thread with laurels in centre. 'U.S.A.' marked below logo. The numeral '5' in gilt is marked on top of needle shaft assembly. The reverse side is marked 'SINGER' onbase. The bottom of the base is covered with green felt. The machine is complete with its combination tool and original cardboard box.
