3 masted. Rough perspex case. Mr McGhie was 1st mate of Abemama when she was grounded in Cockburn Sound in 17 Jun 1927. Built Portland, Oregon 1920 ca. Formerly belonged to Atkinson, Finlayson & Law who used her to transport material to build Onslow Jetty. Then bought by N.W. Whaling Co as stores ship for Point Cloates Whaling station.
