White card with black printing and gold crest at top, under "TO CELEBRATE THE CENTENARY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA. \ The Governor and Lady Campion Request the pleasure of the Company of \ Mr and Mrs McGhie and Miss McGhie \ o Tuesday, 1st October, 1929 \ DANCING 9 to 2 \ UNIFORM OR EVENING DRESS WITH DECORATIONS \ BALLROOM ENTRANCE \ R.S.V.P \ TO A.D.C." Belonged to Miss Ariel McGhie who is believed to have worked in the Bank of Ne South Wales in Perth. Her parents Mr & Mrs L. McGhie were married in Brisbane in 1896.
