A copper one sol coin. The Obverse features the portrait of Louis XV facing to the right, the lettering 'LUDOV XV D GRATIA' and a mintmark which looks like a pawprint. The reverse features crowned square arms (with a rounded base), the lettering 'REX 1771 FRANCIÆ ET NAVARRÆ' with an 'S' mintmark.
