[.1] sepia, Ethel and Agnes Clifton, 1866, Albany, back of carte de visite has a central circular stylised 'belt' logo with the words 'THE ADELAIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPANY/F.S. Crawford,/MANAGER. Handwritten in pencil on the back is 'Agnes Harriott Clifton/Ethel Clifton/K.G.S. Jany 1866'
[.2] rectangular carte de visite with small central oval image of Sophia Harriott Adcock Clifton surrounded by oval decorated border, reverse has handwritten in pencil 'S.H. Clifton/Grandmother'.
[.3] Rectangular carte de visite with sepia image of Kate Fleming Clifton seated at a desk, the front image has a red border around the edge of the card, the reverse has an oval black stamp with 'GUSTAVE/PHOTOGRAPHER' in the outer edge and in centre of oval 'PUTNEY', stamp is incomplete.
[.4] Rectangular sepia image on carte de visite, full length portrait photograph of Kate Fleming Clifton, on reverse handwritten in ink and pencil 'Katie Clifton', oval maker's stamp with 'GUSTAVE/PHOTOGRAPHERS' and in centre of oval '1 CHARLEWOOD/ ROAD/PUTNEY'.
[.5] sepia rectangular image of Ethel Clifton, standing in right profile, upper body leaning on chair, black border around edge on front, at bottom front 'JOHNSTONE, O'SHANNESSY & Co/Next Post Office/Melbourne', on reverse handwritten at top in black ink 'Ethel Clifton/aged 19/1876', black thin line border to front and back of card, printed centre back 'BY APPOINTMENT/TO/H.R.H. THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH K.G./AND TO/HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR' centrally placed Royal Coat of Arms, then 'JOHNSTONE, O'SHANNESSY & Co/Artist Photographers/3 BOURKE ST, EAST, NEXT THE POST OFFICE/MELBOURNE'.
[.6] Sepia image purported to be A.G. Hassell in later life, seated at a desk holding papers in his right hand, at bottom front 'CREELMAN & CO/SYDNEY', gold painted edges
[.7] sepia rectangular image of two men one seated on right one standing on left leaning on a rectangular column, dog at bottom left, mounted on brown card, o reverse written A. G. Hassell, men thought to be brothers A Y Hassell and A G Hassell
[.8] duplicate of above mounted on white card with 'Hassell/Family' written in pencil on back.
