[.1] Small round champagne-coloured enamelled gold mirrored compact with floral engraved cover and gold scrolled opening catch; with remnants of pressed powder
[.2] Lancome sponge powder applicator. Pale pink with satin back, embossed with 'LANCOME/ PARIS' and a flower motif.
[.3] In grey coloured circular felt cover, showing signs of wear with 6 small holes. Cover is sewn around half the circle, with other side left open, no method of securing closed.
[.4-5] Original cardboard box with lid from maker Stratton. Lid shows repeating diamond design in gold. Inside diamonds is alternating pattern of 'STRATTON', line drawing of hand holding open compact and 'MADE/ IN/ ENGLAND'.
Inside box lid 'Stratton/"CONVERTIBLE/COMPACT/FOR SOLID MAKE.UP/OR LOOSE POWDER"
Oval blue and gold retail sticker on box lid indicates purchased at ‘MILLS’ GOLDSMITHS/HALL/GERALDTON’.
Bottom of box '367/ETL' with blue line struck through. '76/ NO 2/ WHITE'.
