[.1] Long, rectangular, brown, soft leather cover, torn and open at each end. Contains a set of 18 wooden draughting rulers. [.2] 12 inch, wooden ruler, marked 1 to 11. Bevelled one edge. Reverse has 'J.G.Arrow' scratched onto it. [.3] Box-wood scale, gradations along tapered outer edges. 'OTTO BOETTGER ADELAIDE', '100/50' and 'ENGINE DIVIDED' is printed in black.'C A L' lightly scratched on left hand side.[.4] Wooden scale, tapered along both edges with faint numerical gradations on both sides visible. Scratched initialing 'FA'?. Some of the numbers, marked 4 to 12, are highlighted with an ivory dot.[.5] Box-wood scale 'l BARRE REGENT ST LONDON' and '60' are printed in the centre with numerical gradations along each tapered edge. The reverse also has graduations. 'J. T. ARROW 1874' is printed centrally in bold black. [.6] Box-wood scale with Imperial inches marked along one edge and fractions thereof on the other side.'STANLEYS ENGINE DIVIDED SCALE TURNSTYLE HOLBORN LONDON' impressed centrally. 'PMD/WA' impressed on right hand side.[.7] ] Box-wood scale, '40/20' is pressed in centre, both edges are graduated.On the other side.'TROUGHTON & SIMMS*LONDON' is impressed centrally. 'ENGINE DIVIDED' impressed on left hand side.[.8] Box-wood scale, graduated along both bevelled edges to the scale '30/feet'.'L. BARRE & Co REGENT ST. LONDON' impressed centrally.[.9] Box-wood scale, graduated along both bevelled edges to the scale '10/feet'.'L. BARRE & Co REGENT ST. LONDON' impressed centrally.
