[.1] Long, rectangular, brown, soft leather cover, torn and open at each end. Contains a set of 18 wooden draughting rulers. [.2] 12 inch, wooden ruler, marked 1 to 11. Bevelled one edge. Reverse has 'J.G.Arrow' scratched onto it. [.3] Box-wood scale, gradations along tapered outer edges. 'OTTO BOETTGER ADELAIDE', '100/50' and 'ENGINE DIVIDED' is printed in black.'C A L' lightly scratched on left hand side.[.4] Wooden scale, tapered along both edges with faint numerical gradations on both sides visible. Scratched initialing 'FA'?. Some of the numbers, marked 4 to 12, are highlighted with an ivory dot.[.5] Box-wood scale 'l BARRE REGENT ST LONDON' and '60' are printed in the centre with numerical gradations along each tapered edge. The reverse also has graduations. 'J. T. ARROW 1874' is printed centrally in bold black.
