DRESS, girl's, cotton, white, E. P. Anderson Wright

White night dress with short sleeves of fine lawn cotton with scalloped edgings around neck, sleeves and hem. A decorative band of embroidered flowers and leaves on the bodice at neck level and around the hem. Four faint marks of tucks circle the skirt, now undone to lengthen. A strip of lace sits on the hips from which the fabric is gathered. The back has a short opening with two mother of pearl buttons and corresponding button holes. Three vertical pleats each side of this opening, define the back from the neck.
