TROPHY, Sterling silver, Belmont Park races, 1932

Double handled cup shaped sterling silver trophy. Two silver handles project slightly above the lip of the cup then extend outwards horizontally before curving downwards to join to the bottom of the cup. Plain stem of cup widens at bottom and joins circular metal base with a ridge at the bottom. Underside of base is hollow. ‘STG SILVER’ and ‘DUNKLINGS’ stamped into one side of base. ‘HUNTERS HANDICAP./1¼ Miles./Belmont Park.
