LOCKET OF HAIR, ‘B. BEHRENS’, in envelope

Small, rectangular, cream coloured, paper, ‘B. BEHRENS’, envelope containing small locket of blond hair. Handwritten, cursive, note on front of envelope reads ‘28/5. 1907/ …./ …’, last two lines of writing indecipherable (German). Printed text in lower left corner of envelope reads ‘B. BEHRENS/ SPEZIALHAUS FÜR/ MODERNE WOHNUNGS – EINRICHTUNGEN/ KIEL/ KEHDENSTRASSE 25’. Reverse plain. Paper discoloured with age, creased all over, slight dirty/rust marking to top half of envelope, handwritten note faded to purple (original black ink?). Small tear to pointed edge of envelope, where previously sealed, small tear to reverse top of envelope. Locket intact.
