BEACH BAG, plastic, transport motifs
H2008.170
Tall, oblong, black trimmed, white background, multi-coloured transport motifs, plastic, drawstring, beach bag. Oval shaped black base, with black plastic piping and wide black border around bottom of bag. White background through midsection with multi-coloured transport motifs, such as planes, vehicles, buses, trains and boats. Wide black band across top of bag, with two brass/copper eyelets each side for threaded cream, cotton, drawstring. Single line of cream stitching along top and bottom of black bands, hand repaired in brown cotton. Hand repaired side seams, both internal and external. Internal plain, cream, plastic, lining, with black band at bottom, and cream base. No maker’s label/mark visible. All seams hand repaired. External colours faded/discoloured from use, scratches visible on plastic, some small dirty marks over bag. Eyelets tarnished, metal tinged with green.
