BUST, Queen Elizabeth II

Pale cream coloured, life- like bust of young Queen Elizabeth II has hair, crown, earrings and sash that is slightly tinted. Crown created in diadem style, features crosses and floral enblems such as rose, thistle and shamrock. Front cross is broken on top upper left. Short hair under crown styled in fashion of the 1950s. Plaster drop earrings hang fom earlobes and are separate and move independently. Pale necklace with ornate pendant encircles neck with pendant finishing at the top of the low cut gown. Facial features including eyes, eyebrows and lips, hand painted in a pale brown colour. Gown with plain pleated bodice features an embossed sash with medal placed on lower left breast. Several small broken sections from crown.
