Plaster painted bas relief 'Deposition from the Cross' sculpture, square shaped wall mounted raised hand painted religious scene surrounded by cream toned moulded plaster frame. Depicts central figure of Jesus being taken from the cross by seven adult figures. Figures features and clothing raised, painted in light hues similar to painted marble washes. Jesus' halo painted gold and gold bands on seams of figures clothing. Pencil marks sketching a square frame around centred head of Jesus includes two other heads of figures on either side. Rear of relief textured, cross hatched surface with metal wire inserted into centre top for hanging.
