Small, bisque head, composition body, dolls x 2 in traditional French costume, with brown spun wigs, handpainted facial features.
[.1] Male doll wearing light brown, brushed cotton? pantaloons, maroon cotton stockings, pale yellow cumberbund and clack felt jacket with green trimming. Black painted boots. Marked: 'SFBJ / 301 / PARIS / 8/0' impressed on back of head.
[.2] Female doll wearing black linen dress with green trimming, cream linen epaulettes on shoulders of dress, maroon cotton apron with lace trim, linen petticoat (not visible), painted black boots. Marked: 'SFBJ / 301 / PARIS / 8/0' impressed on back of head.
