PHOTO, Staff of Princess May School c. 1920

H1998.38

Black and white photograph (now sepia-toned) of a group of people arranged in four staggered rows, mounted on a block of particle board. Of the 33 people pictured, 11 are men; 3 men and one woman at the centre of the image are wearing mortar board graduates' hats and robes. The people are dressed in Edwardian-style clothing - women's dresses high at the neck and modestly ornate at the bust, and 3/4 to full length. All women's hair is up. Mounting block for photo is painted black at edges, and has a hanging string stapled to the back. Cardboard is sandwiched between photo and board.
