Post & Telegraph Department Christmas Greeting Board. Board decorated with 2 photos : i. Fremantle Post Office 1896 ii. Harbour with rail trucks. and painted in black, white, blue & red with flowers, palms and holly. "Christmas / Greetings / Nixon & Merrilees / The officers of the "POST & TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENT" - / of Fremantle send greetings & hearty good wishes to their colleagues at / Xmas 1896". "Fremantle" pasted over, card black, not used & recycled by Nixon & Merrilees who took and presumably also mounted Nicolay's photo H88/145.
