Four photographs mounted on a board headed "LOCKES LTD" and advising "FURNITURE / CABINETMAKING / WOOD MACHINING / FRENCH POLISHING / CNR. SOUTH TERRACE AND FLORENCE / STREET, SOUTH FREMANTLE" and "FACTORIES / UPHOLSTERY / BEDDING / WIRE MATTRESSES / CHAIR MAKING / ADA STREET THROUGH TO ROSE STREET, / SOUTH FREMANTLE / ESTABLISHED 1893". The first photograph shows the factory, with a red telephone booth outside; the second is an interior view of work in assembling, French polishing and despatch sections; the third is an interior shot of workers in the machining department and fourth, inside the Ada-Rose St factory where chair making is underway. The showrooms are advertised as Hay St, first past Foys, in Perth; on Market St opposite the Post Office at Fremantle and also in Bunbury, Collie, Northam, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie.
