EGG CARRIER

Wooden box for carrying eggs, with three tin trays. The box is made of a bland wood, possibly pine, with two iron hinges on the lid. There is also an iron latch to close the lid and iron carry handle. Attached to the handle is a small padlock and chain. The word 'EGGS' has been cut into the lid, and front and rear faces of the box, and coloured brown. Three tin trays, in the shape of open shallow boxes fit inside the box. Each tray has wire upright soldered to the base to hold the eggs.
