CUP CAKE PAPERS

Tall, narrow cardboard box containing pleated cup cake papers. Box is printed in red and blue on white, and is inscribed 'Barker/"CAKOES'/ (TRADE MARK)/ DESIGNED SPECIALLY/ FOR CARD PARTIES/ SPECIAL/ DAINTY/ SIZE/ IDEAL FOR/ AFTERNOON TEAS/ AND/ CARD/ PARTIES'. One side includes an illustration of three cakes. Cup cake papers are off-white, yellow, orange, purple and pale and mid green, grouped according to colour. The off-white papers are wrapped separately in cellophane (originally secured with elastic band - now disintegrated); the yellow and pale green papers are pleated a little differently and may come from a different supply of papers.
