Solid metal rectangular printing plate: plate features the Australian Coat of Arms with Emu and Kangaroo either side of a shield and the word 'AUSTRALIA' in a scroll below. Under this a semi-circle with an archer in the centre, standing on a round globe with wings. Around periphery of semi circle the words 'COMMUNICATIONS/ POST OFFICE'.
