COLLECTION OF CIGARETTE PACKETS, FRONT AND BACK SECTIONS

H1996.241.1-69

A collection of the front and back sides of cigarette packets. Various colours and designs. eg. H96.241.4 is light blue with a white border and gold around edge of blue. There is a grey picture of an aristocratic gentleman with a small moustache and a cigarette in his right hand. Above him, it says 'De Reszke' and below him it says 'The Aristocrat of cigarettes'. eg. H96.241.41 has an aqua blue background and a yellow and pink picture of a medieval castle. There are multi-coloured sentries, knights and horses in front of castle. There is a black strip with white writing at bottom that says 'MADE IN ENGLAND BY/ LOUIS GERARD LTD.' At top in orange, white and black it says 'CAVALCADE/ CIGARETTES'.
