COLLECTION OF TOBACCO PACKETS

Flat, rectangular, plastic tobacco wrapper pouches. Packets vary in colour and brand. All have an over-lapping flap. Some have thread stitching down edges and some are lined with a grease-proof type paper. Others are only plastic and glued down the edges. eg. H96.242.9: Green plastic with brown paper lining. Stitching along edges. Has a border down 2 sides (including inside under flap) of yellow and black vertical lines with red and green zigzags down black strip. Front flap has a Royal Scots Greys crest. Underneath is written 'The "Greys" ' between 2 thistles. Under is written 'READY RUBBED/ SILK CUT VIRGINIA TOBACCO'. There is a clear plastic square at bottom with a yellow border and in it details of manufacturer and weight. Inside, underneath flap, it says in a yellow square with a black border 'GREYS/ IS GREAT' and is underlined in red. Some tiny remnants of tobacco are still inside some packets.
