A dinner menu, cream in colour with blue ink/ print. The menu has a cover and folds out to produce a menu. Text on cover reads 'SEEK WISDOM'/ Economic and Historical / Society./ DINNER/ To/ its President, Professor Shann, / and Mrs. Shann/ on their return/ from Europe./ The Savoy Hotel, / Perth./ August 14th, 1926'. On the cover of the menu is the University of Western Australia Crest. Inside the menu, the text reads 'Toasts./ The King./ The University of WEstern Australia./ OUR GUESTS/ The Economic and Historical Society./ Intermedes Variees.' On the following page text reads 'Menu./ Huitres au Citron./ Come out of your shells - Lectures ceased this / morning)./ Potage: Consomme Giblin./ Poisson: Filet Prehistorique./ Entree: Croquettes a la Golf Course./ Removes: Dinde Roti a'l' Anglaise./ Entremets: Professorial Passion Fruit,/ Gateau a la St. Honore./ Savoury: Melange economique./ Dessert: Fach according to his deeds./ Vins, Minerals, Tabacs./ Chacun a son gout/ et sa poche./ Cafe.'
