MENU, from the ship 'Koolinda'

Menu for Christmas Dinner aboard the 'KOOLINDA', 25 Dec 1935. The front cover shows a flag with 'WESTERN AUSTRALIAN/ STATE SHIPPING SERVICE' underneath it and a picture of T.S.M.V.'KOOLINDA'. Notes written in pencil indicate that the aerodome at Wyndham was closed because of the wet season and that this particular passenger was travelling to Perth by ship., thus saving on air expenses. The inside cover has three paragraphs on Port Headland under the heading: 'Items of Interest'. The following page has the dinner menu, consisting of 7 courses - soup, fish, entree, joints, poultry, vegetables and sweets. At the bottom it has the name of the ship, the name of the Captain, Gilbert Buckeridge and the date. On the back cover is a map of WA and Indonesia and a table of distances.
