Ornate 'cradle' type telephone with handle at side. Iron base enamelled in black with gold and red decoration. 'L.M. ERICSSON & CO. / STOCKHOLM'. Terminal block attached - circular with the letters and figures 'E', 'L2', '7', 'B', 'C', 'L1', clockwise from the top. Found in the cellar of the British Arms building, part of the Museum of the Goldfields. No provenance known. See rear of written data sheet for sketch of object.
