RANSOMES MOTOR MOWER

Motor mower used by the Royal Tennis Club at Kings Park 1960s to 1990 Petrol engine powered, chain drive ,walk behind type, self propelled mower. The horizontal axis revolving blades throw the cuttings into the front mounted catcher. Travel / engine speed are controlled by means of hand operated lever mounted on handle. A metal plate on the rhs of frame is marked "Ransomes, Sims and jeffries Ltd / Engineers / Ipswich England / 20 Motor Mower Mark 10 / Motor Mower No B 2909 "
