Revolving sprinkler roller, driven by an electric motor/gearbox. The roller assembly is surmounted by a wooden hopper which contains the ingredients e.g. sugar, which is 'sprinkled' by the actions of the splined roller and the trestle roller. Marked on hopper on a plate: 'TT VICARS/ ENGINEERS/ EARLSTOWN/ ENGLAND'.
