Navy blue box with 'DENTAL DIAGNOSTIC SET' in gold lettering at centre and "BURTON MANUFACTURING CO / LOS ANGELES 64 CALIFORNIA", bottom LH corner. Front panel has 2 press studs. Interior of box is lined in blue felt and has apertures at bottom LH corner to accommodate various pieces. There are mirrored handpieces with manufacturer's name on rear, 1 magnifying handpiece , no mark, 2 lighting handpieces, one light bulb. All but the spare [?] light bulb appears to be attachable to standard handpiece. There is also a pulp tester which fits in awkwardly. Still has brown paper on base with 'Mr K.C. Rout / Dentist / KALGOORLIE'.
